This Deck mainly consists of starting with Resonators as their main materials, which thanks to “Command Resonator” and “Resonator Call” it won’t take long to gather more than enough Tuners. However, some players will prefer to focus on the archetype that “Red Dragon Archfiend” created over the years, making the arrival of “Supernova” not as immediate but making a more consistent build arround its several counterparts. Given both archetypes have the speed to gather the needed materials thanks to “Tuning” and “Junk Converter”, “Supernova” can easily turn into one of the easiest Synchro Summons for its Level and requeriments. However, allowing it to use any Synchro Monster in the game instead of a specific one, is very possible to summon “Supernova” from the very first turn if we begin with “Junk Speeder” and its ability to swarm the board with Synchrons. With the highest Level a monster can carry, “Supernova” might not require the original “Red Dragon Archfiend” as “Nova” does, but is still a heavy Synchro Summon by requiring three Tuners and a Synchro Monster. In resume, by simpply improving the attack negation of “Red Nova Dragon” and making it less specific on its materials, “Supernova” easily becomes a very dangerous Synchro Monster that can wipe out whole fields and deal massive damage with its high ATK. This not only clearly leaves the opponent open and losing several resources, but also with “Supernova” returning at the end of the turn where this effect was used. What makes it different from its older version is its final effect, where “Supernova” can respond an attack or a monster effect by banishing itself along the rest of cards on the opposite field. Like “Nova Dragon”, “Supernova” gains 500 ATK for each Tuner in our Graveyard as well having protection against destructive effects by the opponent. “Red Supernova Dragon” is a counterpart form of “Red Nova Dragon”, yet sharing many similarities with the latter and still becoming more dangerous. Combined with the Resonator monsters as its Main Deck support, “Red Dragon” left a strong legacy for various powerful Synchro Monsters to take over. Fortunately, like many cards featured in an anime, “Red Dragon” obtained a variety of counterparts to focus on instead and take over the name of the original. However, while other Signer Dragons such as “Stardust Dragon” and “Black Rose Dragon” are still used in a wide variety of Decks, “Red Dragon” didn’t had that much luck due a risky effect only useful against defensive players. “Red Dragon Archfiend” was one of the first Synchro Monsters to debut in the game, as well part of the Signer Dragons to give it a strong fanbase thanks to the 5D’s series.
